The best hour of the week is hitting the road as Baylor’s Dr Pepper Hour Tour visits high schools throughout Texas during the 2021-22 academic year. Dr Pepper Hour — a Baylor tradition since 1953 — is making a statewide high school tour to deliver the sweet experience of Dr Pepper floats alongside the excitement of being a part of the Baylor Family.

Collen was named Baylor’s women’s basketball head coach May 5. She succeeds Kim Mulkey, who garnered a 632-104 record with three national titles in 21 seasons at Baylor. Collen has coached women’s basketball since the 2000-01 season, spending the past three seasons as head coach of the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream.
Jameson Graber, Ph.D., assistant professor of mathematics, earned a Faculty Early Career Development Award (CAREER) from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The award provides nearly $430,000 in funding over five years to support his research at the intersection of partial differential equations, game theory, economics and political science.
Roughly 32 percent of American colleges and universities are led by female presidents or chancellors. It is rarer for a university’s top two executives to be female. With Linda A. Livingstone, Ph.D., as president and Nancy Brickhouse, B.A. ’83, Ph.D., as provost, Baylor also boasts a first gentleman and a second gentleman. Baylor is partnering with Topgolf Entertainment Group as the official education partner of Topgolf Waco, a single-level, community-focused venue featuring 30 climate-controlled hitting bays, classic Topgolf games, iconic virtual courses, a full-service restaurant, backyard-style lawn areas with fire pits and a mini golf course for a casual and enjoyable experience. The sponsorship agreement is the first between a university and Topgolf nationwide at this partnership level.
