My mom and I talked about what we learned throughout my college experience, and here are a few things my parents wish they knew when I came to Baylor.
Baylor faculty and representatives actively shape and advance their disciplines, and their expertise is sought by peers and media, as well as by University students in academic settings.
This spring, Baylor began sharing stories of students, faculty and staff who, through their actions and commitments, shine a light that inspires others and brings glory to God.
Baylor University is celebrating a remarkable period of fundraising success in support of our students, faculty and programs due to the unwavering generosity of the Baylor Family.
In May, Baylor’s Board of Regents unanimously accepted the University moving forward with the implementation of Illuminate, Baylor’s Academic Strategic Plan, and took action to approve a $660.1 million operating budget for 2018-2019, five new academic degree programs, and new Board members.
An extension campus of Baylor’s George W. Truett Theological Seminary opens in Houston in August with the goal of reaching students who cannot pursue in-residence education while addressing the evolving landscape of higher theological education.
Preparing students for leadership and service at Baylor means illustrating the importance of serving with full awareness of the needs of others.
