Baylor welcomes Curtis Reynolds, an experienced Research 1 university administrator, to lead Baylor’s business and finance operations. Reynolds will join the University as vice president of business and finance and chief financial officer, effective March 1, 2024. He will be responsible for ensuring and growing the University’s financial strength and operating efficiency. As a member of the President’s Council, he is expected to initiate and maintain progressive systems of financial planning, reporting, business development and reliable revenue streams that enable President Livingstone and other senior leaders, including the Baylor University Board of Regents, to make informed and fiscally responsible decisions in fulfillment of Baylor’s Christian mission. He also will spearhead the development, communication and implementation of innovative initiatives intended to grow institutional revenue in an ever-evolving higher education landscape.

Reynolds joins Baylor from the University of Florida, where he served as vice president for business affairs.

“Baylor University holds a unique place in higher education, even as a faith-based institution, and I look forward to becoming a member of the Baylor Family. I am humbled by the opportunity to collaborate with President Livingstone, the President’s Council, the Board of Regents and others on campus as we work together to secure Baylor’s standing as a Christian Research 1 university,” Reynolds said. “I fully embrace Baylor’s commitment to judicious stewardship and financial stability, and I am excited to be a part of the University’s next phase in strategic planning and fiscal growth.”
