Fay Chu, BA ’70, of Glendale, CA, established the Hom-Chu Family Endowed Scholarship for Education and supports students enrolled in the School of Education, with preference given to students graduating from high school in California.

Dexter Ward, BBA ’70, and Lois Ward, BSN ’72, of Plano, TX, established the Dexter and Lois Ward Serendipity Endowment in Entrepreneurship which supports the New Venture Challenge and other priority needs within the Department of Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation.

Bob Gault, BS ’71, and Bessie Gault of Rockwall, TX, established the Bob and Bessie Gault Endowed Athletic Scholarship for Women’s Soccer which supports students participating in the Baylor women’s soccer program.

Saralu Thompson Lunn, BA ’71, of Brentwood, TN, established the Eddie and Saralu Lunn Endowed Scholarship for Truett Seminary which supports students enrolled in Truett Seminary.

Steve Vernon, BA ’73, and Donna Vernon, BA ’73, of Belton, TX, established the Steve and Donna Vernon Endowed Scholarship Fund which supports students enrolled at Truett Seminary.

Dennis Keys, BBA ’72, and Kathleen Keys, BSN ’75, of Dallas established the Kathleen and Dennis Keys Endowment for Faculty Development in Nursing in 2022 which supports faculty development.

Steven C. Haworth, BA ’73, JD ’73, of Frisco, TX, established the Steven and Patricia Haworth Endowed Fund for The Paper Chase Legal Writing Competition which supports The Paper Chase Legal Writing Competition at Baylor Law School.

Kimberly Chaney Moore, BSEd ’77, and Hillary Moore, BBA ’76, MBA ’77, of Abilene, TX, established the Kimberly (Chaney) and Hillary Moore Endowed Scholarship in 2022 which supports students enrolled in Baylor.

John and Edwina Nelson, BSE ’77, of Waco established the John and Edwina Nelson Scholarship for Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2022 under the Health Initiative that supports students who express an interest in serving children in the area of language and literacy.

Judi Pritchard Spencer, BM ’77, received the Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation’s 2022 Service of Excellence Award for her continuous support and dedication to the Parkinson’s community. Additionally, Judi premiered Be Still My Soul for marimba and choir, arranged by Mark Hayes, BM ’75, along with Brennan Michaels, MM ’17, at Bellevue Presbyterian Church, Bellevue, WA.
