Wedded Bears

Abigail Klein, BA ’15, and Grant Hester, BS ’14, married June 27, 2020, in Plano, TX. They met in 2012, when they were set up on a blind date for Tri Delta’s Sister Mister event. They currently reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where Abigail works for an advertising agency and Grant is an EIT electrical designer for an MEP engineering firm.

Tara Leigh Nunley, BA ’15, and Stephen Scott Neumann, BBA ’12, MAcc ’12, married May 16, 2020, in Dallas. The couple currently resides in New York.

Scott Terrell, BBA ’15, and Linda Mark, BBA ’14, married May 24, 2020, in a family ceremony. They delayed their wedding celebration to Oct. 17, 2020, in Vail, CO. They currently reside in Houston, where Linda runs a concierge business and Scott works for VYPE Media as an account manager.

Josh Flores Olvera, BA ’14, MDiv ’19, and Haley Flores, BA ’16, married Oct. 11, 2020, in Temple, TX, where they live. Josh is a missions minister, and Haley is a physical therapist. They love hiking Cameron Park (where they met), watching Baylor football and coffee dates at Common Grounds.

>Emily Martin, BBA ’17, and Connar Holt, BS ’19, married June 6, 2020, in Waco. David Maness, BBA ’02, officiated. Emily and Connar were heavily involved in Young Life while at Baylor. Connar was a leader at Axtell [TX] High School, and Emily was on the Young Life college team. They live in Waco with their puppy Oliver.

Kelsey Stevens, BA ’17, MS ’20, and Sam Tecklenburg, BA ’18, MS ’19, were married July 5, 2020. Sam, an All-Big 12 Conference honoree in football, and Kelsey were next-door neighbors during their years at Baylor and fell in love. Baylor Football associate head coach Joey McGuire officiated. They are forever honored and grateful for such an amazing day.

Megan Hummel, BBA ’18, MAcc ’18, and Matt Moore, BBA ’19, MTax ’19, married Nov. 8, 2020, in McKinney, TX. They live in Denver and both work in public accounting.

Parker Wright, BA ’18, and Rachel Potts, BS ’18, married Dec. 19, 2020, in Texarkana, TX.

Madeline Deyo, BBA ’19, and Samuel Voss, BBA ’20, married Oct. 4, 2020, in Corinth, TX, and sang That Good Old Baylor Line at their wedding. Maddie is a senior analyst at Accenture, and Sam is an account manager at AT&T. They live in Dallas with their golden doodle Louie.

Zachary Sanger, BA ’21, and Stephanie Turner married Jan. 16 at a small family ceremony in Waco, where they live and are surrounded by a community of friends and family who love them.

Jay Sedwick, BS ’21, and Hannah Lockin, BA ’21, MA ’21, were married May 25, 2020, in Waco. Jay recently finished his fourth season on the Baylor football team. He works for Baylor Sports Ministry and graduates in May. Hannah will complete her corporate communications degree and play her final season on the Baylor volleyball team this fall.
