Baylor’s wide range of online graduate and professional academic programs provides flexible education opportunities to students who seek to advance their knowledge in their professions. Requiring both field and classroom work, as well as strategic immersion experiences, the online programs provide accessibility yet are grounded in the academic rigor and Christian perspective that are hallmarks of a Baylor education.

“Graduate professional education is a key component of Baylor’s strategic plan, Illuminate, and our pursuit of R1 status as a preeminent Christian research institution,” Baylor President Linda A. Livingstone, Ph.D., said. “These offerings of online graduate programs undergird our efforts, advance Baylor’s online academic presence and expand access to students who desire a distinct, Christian-focused education.”

As an area of strategic growth for the University, Baylor’s graduate and professional programs attract highly qualified students from throughout the nation.

“These digital education opportunities enable us to reach professionals wherever they may be based,” Vice Provost for Institutional Research and Professional Education Gary Carini said. “We welcome a diverse cohort of students who — as graduates of these outstanding programs — will positively shape and serve their communities with our Baylor values in mind.”

Baylor offers online master’s programs in business administration, communication sciences and disorders, litigation management, journalism, school leadership, computer science, public health and social work. Online doctoral programs are also available in executive nurse leadership, family nurse practitioner, neonatal nurse practitioner, nurse-midwifery and pediatric nurse practitioner, physical therapy, education (learning and organizational change), occupational therapy and social work.
