William F. Thomas

Dr. William F. "Bill" Thomas, BA ’51, of Monroe, MI, formerly of Fort Worth, died Sept. 1 at age 87. He was a retired professor of psychology from Tarrant County [TX] Junior College. He received two degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Thomas was the Baptist Student Union director at the University of Missouri at Rolla from 1956 to 1969. He was a member of Baylor’s Endowed Scholarship Society, Bear Foundation, Old Main Society and 1845 Society. He was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Julia Ann Walker Thomas, and is survived by his daughter Vicki Thomas Maxwell, BA ’77, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
