William B. Herrington

Dr. William B. Herrington, EDD '67, passed away on Nov. 15, 2009. In 1967, Herrington and his wife, Mary, BA '48, MS '53, EDD '67, were the first married couple in Baylor history to receive their doctoral degrees on the same day. He finished his career at Baylor, where he taught counseling and educational psychology courses and was an academic advisor. He also served as the certification officer for the School of Education. He retired in 1989.
