The Virtual Career Network

March 23, 2010

Launched in early March, Baylor's Virtual Career Network aims to aid BU alumni in making the most of every opportunity. From searching for a new job to building the skills necessary to take a career to the next level, the Virtual Career Network provides an array of resources for professionals at all levels.

Offering national job listings, the Web site opens new windows of opportunity for those looking for a job or considering a career change. With information succinctly grouped in one database, Baylor graduates can easily navigate thousands of options and are able to identify jobs posted by other Baylor users.

On the flip side, employers who want to recruit employees of Baylor caliber are able to post their company's job openings, making them readily accessible to Baylor alumni.

The Virtual Career Network site also features podcasts and webinars from experts in various fields as well as information about professional certifications and graduate/professional programs. With detailed information about identifying ideal job targets, creating powerful marketing campaigns, reducing the effects of an economic recession and much more, the Virtual Career Network is a vital resource.

The regularly updated list of Baylor Network events provides opportunities for professionals to build connections and mentorship relationships with Bears in their area. And beyond scheduled events, the Virtual Career Network links to the University's online alumni directory--a convenient way to network with other Baylor graduates.
