November 30, 2009

Baylor University's Executive MBA Program climbed 15 spots in the Financial Times' 2009 overall rankings to No. 73 worldwide. The program, which includes both Dallas and Austin campuses, ranked No. 1 in Texas for percent of salary increase, career progress rank and percent of women students.
"The rankings exhibit our strength in helping seasoned professionals achieve their goals," said Dr. Gary Carini, associate dean of graduate business programs at Baylor's Hankamer School of Business. "We continue to create opportunities that enhance the program and equip today's managers to excel. Baylor's national and global reputation follows each of our graduates wherever their careers take them."
This year the program became the only Executive MBA in the Dallas or Austin areas to provide professional, personalized career coaching to students. The program also has enhanced opportunities for its students to engage in business-consulting service projects in Asia and to volunteer in not-for-profit organizations in Washington, D.C.
Nationally, Baylor's EMBA program was named No. 33 overall. It ranked No. 5 for "aims achieved," the extent to which students realized their goals through the program. It also ranked No. 10 in the nation for salary increase.
Internationally, Baylor's EMBA program is No. 32 for career progress and No. 37 for international work experience.
