'Christmas' program on PBS again this year

October 19, 2004

Last year's debut of the HDTV "Christmas at Baylor" on PBS stations nationwide reached 10 million to 12 million viewers, and more will be able to see it when it airs again this holiday season and in 2005.
Produced by Baylor's KWBU-TV and Brandenburg Productions, the one-hour program aired on 287 stations with 898 telecasts and was available to 90 percent of U.S. households, said Kliff Kuehl, president and chief executive officer of KWBU-TV.
"I believe all involved were overwhelmed by the response from Central Texans, Baylor alums and public TV viewers from across the country," Kuehl said.
The program features a number of seasonal concerts from the School of Music including performances by the Choral Union, the Symphony Orchestra, the Chamber Singers and the A Cappella Choir.
