In November, a partnership between Baylor Law and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in McLennan County marked its 11th annual National Adoption Day celebration.

Rankings released in November by The Princeton Review and featured in Entrepreneur magazine place Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business (HSB) entrepreneurship programs among the top 10 nationally for students who aspire to launch their own businesses. 

Baylor’s Office of External Affairs coordinates the University’s efforts undergirding positive social and economic change through partnerships with non-profit organizations, community development resources and other educational institutions. 

Baylor accreditation reaffirmed, process establishes Quality Enhancement Plan

Collaborators from the Baylor School of Education and Waco ISD received the national Award for Excellence in Integrating Science and Mathematics at the School Science and Mathematics Association (SSMA) convention in October.

The expertise of Baylor faculty and representatives who are actively shaping and advancing their disciplines is sought after by their peers and media as well as by University students in academic settings.

Baylor is in the first year of its five-year, U.S. Department of Education-funded grant to implement the Ronald E. McNair Post-baccalaureate Achievement Program.
