Nursing School Dedicates New Academic Building

As more students answer a higher call to the nursing profession, the Dallas campus of Baylor’s Louise Herrington School of Nursing (LHSON) needed significantly more space for students to strengthen their preparation for successful careers and for faculty to teach and conduct life-changing research.

Baylor Celebrates Record-setting Class, Retention, Graduation

Baylor enrolled its highest-achieving freshman class ever and advanced undergraduate retention and graduation rates to record levels, according to 12th class day statistics from the University’s Office of Institutional Research and Testing (IRT).

Inspirational Legacy

Bob and Joyce Packard represent the Baylor experience for many generations of alumni. From Bob’s more than 50 years of teaching Packard Physics, where it is estimated he taught more than a quarter of all Baylor alumni, to Joyce’s service in many capacities, culminating in her time as dean of women, the Packards shaped significantly the journeys of many a Baylor student.

Multicultural Mission

With more than 17,000 students typically from all 50 states and 86 foreign countries, Baylor is more diverse than ever before. Minority enrollment in fall 2017 achieved a University-record at 35.3 percent, which was matched for fall 2018.
