Graduating seniors cheer with raised arms at the evening Line to Legacy celebration outside McLane Stadium.

Graduating seniors gathered one last time as students at McLane Stadium for Line to Legacy, an event designed to celebrate their accomplishments and welcome them as new alumni. Line to Legacy featured a greeting from Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Doug McNamee, B.A. ’03, M.S.Ed ’05, and a message from Baylor President Linda A. Livingstone, Ph.D., that ended in a Dr Pepper float toast before students signed the gold line at the Baylor Line entrance for the last time. Participants then headed to the John Eddie Williams Field to relive some of the best memories from their undergraduate experience as they watched a video on the scoreboard and participated in games, photo opps and giveaways.

“Line to Legacy is more than a final celebration, it is an opportunity for graduating seniors to reconnect with their peers before commencement, engage with Baylor’s Alumni Office as they prepare for life after graduation and step confidently into what it means to be Baylor alumni. It is a moment to celebrate where we have been, embrace where we are going, and fling Baylor’s green and gold proudly into whatever chapter comes next,” Mikey Condon, B.B.A. ’26, former student body external vice president said.

Alumni engagement staff and members of the Alumni Board of Advocates were also onsite to connect with students.

“The Baylor experience starts in the first year as a student on campus but extends far beyond that as students become alumni. We are grateful for the opportunity to engage with graduating students in a meaningful way and deepen their connection with the Baylor Family,” Sarah Kathryn Ricci, associate vice president of alumni engagement and annual giving, said.
