Baylor Acrobatics & Tumbling won an unprecedented 11th-straight NCATA national championship, defeating No. 3 Quinnipiac. The win extends the program’s win streak to 62 meets, all under the tutelage of Head Coach Felicia Mulkey. Baylor also won seven individual heat titles, along with Payton Washington (Athlete of the Year), Leavy McDonald (Specialist of the Year), Mo Arthur (Freshman of the Year) and Mulkey (Coach of the Year) all earning national honors.
Baylor Baseball redshirt senior Tyce Armstrong made national headlines with an explosive Opening Day performance. The first baseman became the second player in NCAA history to hit three grand slams in a single game, doing so in Baylor’s 15-2 victory over New Mexico State.
Johnny Keefer, B.B.A. ’24, qualified for his first-ever Masters Tournament on the PGA Tour, with his Top 50 World ranking earning his spot in the field. Keefer had the additional privilege of being the first player to officially tee off the 90th Masters on Thursday morning following the Honorary Starters — a trio of golf giants: Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson.
Darianna Littlepage-Buggs, B.S.Ed. ’26, was selected 30th overall in the 2026 WNBA Draft, picked by the Washington Mystics. Buggs’ selection marks Nicki Collen’s fifth player drafted during her tenure as head coach of Baylor women’s basketball.
Baylor Football greats Jackie Marshall, B.S.Ed. ’25, (Titans) and Josh Cameron, B.A. ’25, (Jaguars) were both drafted in the sixth round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Sawyer Robertson, B.B.A. ’25, (Raiders); Michael Trigg (Cowboys); Kole Wilson (Browns); Sidney Fugar (Cowboys) and Kobe Prentice (Panthers) all signed undrafted free agent contracts with Devyn Bobby, B.S.Ed. ’25, (Bucs) receiving a rookie minicamp invitation.
