TEDx Baylor University: Innovation in Deeds
This November, Baylor University will host its inaugural TEDx event, presenting “Innovation in Deeds.” TEDxBaylor University will feature a lineup of dynamic speakers from across Baylor’s campus and the Waco community, bringing thought leadership and innovation to the stage.
“Innovation in Deeds” will showcase the power of bold, innovative ideas in action, embodying Baylor’s mission and strategic plan through interdisciplinary collaboration, creative ingenuity and shared learning. This theme shines a spotlight on how courageous thinking, when turned into action, can ignite transformative change across the world. TEDxBaylor University will bring thought leaders and changemakers together to discuss ways to innovate both in the community and on campus through sharing creative ideas, groundbreaking research and personal reflections.
TEDx programs are local, self-organized events that bring people together to encourage deep discussion and connection.
“There is an incredible opportunity to amplify innovative ideas emerging from Waco, at Baylor University and on a global scale, in strong alignment with Baylor’s call to impact the church, our state and the world,” Krista Brinser, senior director of external affairs at Baylor, said.
