For the second year in a row, Baylor University has been named to TIME Magazine’s list of the 100 Best Colleges for Future Leaders, a ranking measuring universities that excel in nurturing some of the nation’s most highly influential leaders. Baylor is ranked No. 61 nationally, No. 3 in Texas and No. 4 among Big 12 universities on the Future Leaders list.
Overall, the majority of TIME’s 100 Best Colleges for Future Leaders have notable business and law programs and are large research universities. Baylor University meets all three categories with its nationally recognized Hankamer School of Business and Baylor Law School and its designation as a Research 1 university that also is distinctively Christian.
“Baylor University produces outstanding leaders who commit themselves to a life of service in their professional fields, and we are honored by this recognition, especially as Baylor’s level of leadership and service is integrally connected to our Christian mission,” said Baylor President Linda A. Livingstone, Ph.D. “We are proud of and grateful for our Baylor alumni, who were transformed by opportunities at the University to cultivate habits and virtues that orient their leadership toward human flourishing and a vision to change the world.”
