Continuing a remarkable and unprecedented decade of dominance, the Baylor acrobatics and tumbling team won its ninth-straight NCATA national championship in April. With head coach Felicia Mulkey at the helm — who has won all 12 national titles since the rapidly growing sport’s inaugural season in 2011 — this program continues to shock and awe a growing fan base across the country, topping Gannon in the title meet to extend the team’s winning streak to an astonishing 38 meets. Led by a roster of viral stars and sensations in the sport like Bayley Humphrey, Riley Chimwala and Jordan Gruendler, the Bears continue to run the table on the mat. In addition, the Bears had 30 student-athletes named to the NCATA Academic Honor Roll, consisting of those scholars who have earned a 3.30 cumulative GPA or higher.
