Vasil William “Bill” Allabashi

Vasil William “Bill” Allabashi, BBA ’60, beloved son of Christo and Marie Allabashi and brother of John Allabashi and Nancy Haag, died Feb. 27 in Littleton, CO.

Allabashi was born Feb. 2, 1936, in Southbridge, MA. He remained in Southbridge until his high school graduation and then served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Following his service, he studied at Baylor University where he received his BBA in economics in 1960.

Allabashi spent the remainder of his working years in the insurance industry as a general agent until retiring at the age of 80. He married the love of his life, Donna Margritz, who also worked in the agency, in 1981. They were happily married for 43 years.

He loved family and spending time with them above all else. In his younger years, Allabashi also enjoyed golf, traveling, owning restaurants and wine tasting. 

Allabashi was a loving father to Lynn Ruth Miller of Parker, CO, Kimberly Kay Jewell of Larkspur, CO, and Kari Lynn Alexander, BBA ’89, of Highlands Ranch, CO.
