United in Prayer
Collegiate Day of Prayer broadcast to originate from Baylor University
Students, leaders and communities across the nation will join in prayer Feb. 29 for college students. Baylor University will serve as the originating site for the 2024 Collegiate Day of Prayer broadcast to be live-streamed around the world, taking part in more than 200 years of unifying college campuses in prayer for the next generation of faith leaders.
“Baylor University is humbled to serve as a conduit for Christians from around the state, nation and world to connect in prayer as a part of the 2024 Collegiate Day of Prayer, and we look forward to showcasing the beautiful diversity of the Kingdom of God in this global moment,” said Baylor President Linda A. Livingstone, Ph.D. “We believe college-aged students near and far will be strengthened and encouraged during this season of prayer.”
The program will leverage a combination of local and extended prayer opportunities to encourage broad prayer intercession. The event on Baylor’s campus is being planned in partnership with local churches and college ministry leaders. Waco-area churches and college ministries have committed to praying together monthly in advance of the broadcast. The Baylor Family can also get involved by praying individually, organizing prayer sessions and promoting the evening broadcast to students in their communities. Parents who gather for Parents in Prayer are encouraged to include the event in their meetings.
