The Senior Class of 2022 and Student Government funded an upgrade to the iconic lights of Pat Neff Hall. Since 1978, the lights have glowed green after a Baylor victory or in commemoration of a special moment.

“Traditions are critically important to the Baylor experience because they unify the Baylor Line through the generations,” said Tanner Vickers, B.B.A. ’10, M.S. ’12, associate director of student activities. “Thanks to the Class of 2022 gift and the support of Student Government, the tradition of lighting Pat Neff Hall green has been secured for the future.”

The upgrade modernized the external lighting system used to illuminate the building with reliable LED fixtures, renewed hardware and a system that is more ecologically friendly, brighter and adjustable.

For over a century, the graduating senior class has bestowed a gift to the University to mark their time and contributions to Baylor. Whether it’s the restoration of the historic sign that marked the entry to Carroll Field or a new walkway in Traditions Plaza, the Senior Class Gift is one of the most meaningful and lasting contributions of Baylor graduates.
