Keiko Griffin Anderson of Austin established the Camille Griffin Trailblazers Endowed Scholarship Fund to support the Trailblazers Scholars Program. Anderson’s daughter Camille is a member of Baylor’s Class of 2024.

Scott and Christine Janssen of Castle Rock, CO, established the Scott and Christine Janssen Endowed Scholarship Fund for the College of Arts and Sciences as part of the Hord Challenge Program. Their youngest son Jake Janssen is an astronomy major as a member of Baylor’s Class of 2024.

Jake Patterson and Lindsey Warner Patterson moved back to Waco in March 2020 and opened Yaki, one of Waco’s newest food trucks. Yaki is located in the parking lot at 618 Columbus Ave. and is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday. The food truck serves rice boxes with delicious oak-smoked chicken. Wacoan magazine named Yaki the city’s best food truck in 2020.

Larry Little, ABC ’20, and Elizabeth Leverson Little married Aug. 15, 2020, at Waco’s Redeemer Presbyterian Church. Jeff Hatton, DM ’17, officiated. Larry is a senior alumni communications specialist in Baylor’s Division of Marketing Communication and managing editor of Baylor Magazine. He previously was media relations coordinator for Baylor’s baseball, football, volleyball, softball, and track and field programs. Elizabeth is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Texas Medical Branch, and she is an orthopedic physician associate in Waco.

Dean and Danene Saggau of Kent, WA, established the Dean and Danene Saggau Endowed Scholarship Fund in Business to reward hard-working students who exhibit a life of Christian faith. They have two sons: Dalton Saggau, BBA ’21, and Duncan Saggau, Class of 2023.

Sigrid Weidenweber of Zephyr Cove, NV, and Anne Weidenweber of Santa Rosa Valley, CA, established the Weidenweber Endowed Fund. This scholarship supports the Baylor Moot Court within the Department of Political Science. Anne’s son Andrew Henson is a political science major as a member of Baylor’s Class of 2024. 

Brookes Worthington joined the Parker County Today magazine team as director of business development. Worthington has a long career in banking in and around Weatherford, TX, including stints with Weatherford National Bank, Texas American Bank, Spirit of Texas Bank and First National Bank in Cool, TX. He has also been a successful entrepreneur with a car dealership in Graham, TX. “Brookes knows the market and so many of our customers already,” Parker County Today publisher Marsha Brown said. “He’s been an asset for us from his first week. I look forward to him growing our advertising roster and our business using his experience and expertise.”

Daniel E. Vineyard of The Woodlands, TX, established the Penny Hatley Vineyard Endowed Scholarship Fund in Nursing, a Hord Challenge Scholarship, in honor of his wife Penny Hatley Vineyard. Penny has been an active volunteer in Baylor’s nursing school since her daughter Taylor Vineyard, BSN ’20, began attending.
