Mary Joe Toy, BSN ’87, is the deputy assistant inspector general at the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Office of Inspector General (VAOIG), Office of Healthcare Inspections. Toy was appointed to this senior executive service level position Sept. 29, 2019, and leads the VAOIG’s cyclical evaluations of Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISN) oversight. This includes inspections of care provided by healthcare staff in the VA’s more than 1,200 healthcare facilities and clinics and evaluations of community care efforts and issues.
Lee Mulcahy, BA ’88, had paintings exhibited in September’s Political Discord at Gallery Las Lagunas in Laguna Beach, CA, and at the virtual online group exhibition Art by Taurean National Art Tour in late 2020.
