SOE Celebrates Centennial

For more than 100 years, graduates have carried the mission and practices of the Baylor School of Education (SOE) to Texas classrooms and beyond — as teachers, superintendents, psychologists, health education and sport management professionals, scholars and more. Now, Baylor SOE ranks among the nation’s top 20 education schools at private universities. Fieldwork, service, mentoring and innovative partnerships with local schools are the hallmarks of our teacher education and other programs. Whether working toward undergraduate or graduate degrees, and with guidance of dedicated faculty and community professionals, Baylor SOE students gain an understanding of theory and practice that transcends lecture hall learning. A few of the many highlights in SOE’s 100 years are listed here.
