West Earns All-America Honors

Baylor sophomore Anna West earned the track program’s ninth All-America honor after finishing 40th at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Louisville, Kentucky, with a time of 20 minutes, 12.5 seconds in the 6,000-meter run. West, a Wildwood, Missouri, native, is the seventh different individual to earn All-America honors for Baylor’s women’s cross country team and the first since 2014.

Junior Lindsey Bradley, a business and human relations major from Richland, Washington, who also qualified for the NCAA Championships, was named Big 12 Women’s Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

West and Bradley also earned all-conference and all-region honors for the second consecutive season.
