Meredith (Moran) Bernsen, BSFCS ’07, and husband David Cade Bernsen of Beaumont, TX, welcomed Clara Channing Bernsen on April 6. “When Channing enters Baylor as a freshman in 2032, she will be a fifth-generation Baylor Bear,” writes Meredith. “Her great-great-great grandfather graduated in 1892. Her great grandfather has had Baylor football season tickets for 40 years and she is excited to attend her first game with him!”
Leslie True Carlson, BBA ’04, and her husband Spencer of Dallas welcomed their son, Parker Harman Carlson, on May 1. They plan to attend many Baylor events and hope he will be a future Baylor Bear.

Dr. Morgen (Young) Gardner, BBA ’01, and husband Adam of Palm Bay, FL, welcomed son Garrett Charles Gardner on Jan 20. Morgen is a dentist, concluding five years of service in the U.S. Navy in August, and Adam is a U.S. Marine Corps F/A-18 pilot. They reside in Bluffton, SC.

Dr. Kristi (Rowan) Humphreys, BA ’99, is assistant professor of critical studies and artistic practice and coordinator of the fine arts doctoral program in critical studies and artistic practice at Texas Tech University. Her husband, Chris, is game day producer for Texas Tech Athletics. They welcomed their second child, Lawson John Humphreys, on Sept. 25, 2013.
