Success Par For The Course

The Baylor women's golf team made its ninth NCAA tournament appearance in 10 years this spring, earning head coach Sylvia Ferdon top honors as the Big 12 Coach of the Year. In March and April, the team won back-to-back tournaments for the third time in program history. The Lady Bears finished 15th at the NCAA West Regional, led by All-Big 12 junior Hannah Burke, who tied for 18th individually.

Head coach Greg Priest led the Baylor men's golf team to its 12th straight NCAA selection in 2009. Senior Bill Allcorn finished second at the Big 12 Championship, one of his five top-10 and three top-5 finishes this season. The men won three of their 12 tournaments this year, including back-to-back titles to open the season, and finished in the top five seven times.
