Now one of the largest Honors Colleges in the nation, Baylor's Honors College fall '08 enrollment was near capacity: approximately 1,400 individuals, with 11 percent enrolled in more than one program. Small classes focus on written and verbal skills: 80 percent of classes enroll fewer than 20 students, and nearly 100 percent enroll fewer than 25. Students don't need upper-level standing to take distinguished professors' classes; all Honors College faculty members teach freshmen. The Honors College is organized into four undergraduate programs: the Honors Program, University Scholars, Baylor Interdisciplinary Core and Great Texts.
