Baylor Video Productions Beat Out ESPN, CBS For National Awards

September 1, 2009

Outside groups are recognizing the great work of BaylorVision, responsible for the video production Baylor fans enjoy at home football, basketball, baseball and softball games.

In June, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the Sports Video Group honored BaylorVision with three awards, including the College Sports Video of the Year for their work on the opener for Baylor men's basketball games. In that category, Baylor beat out submissions from CBS, ESPN, Penn State and Miami; in winning the other two awards, BaylorVision staff topped entries from Notre Dame and Ohio State.

BaylorVision was also recognized in February by the Information Display and Entertainment Association, which named BaylorVision the top university video board display in the nation.
