Baylor In The Late 1950s

Baylor in the late 1950s was in the midst of a building boom that rivals even the past decade's. The wide array of buildings included several then-new residence halls-- Allen ('54), Dawson ('54), Martin ('55) and Collins ('58)--as well as campus landmarks such as Armstrong Browning Library seen here ('52), Tidwell Bible Building ('54) and Morrison Hall ('56).
Among the major new buildings were Kokernot Residence Hall ('48), Baylor/Floyd Casey Stadium ('51), the Speight-Jenkins Apartments ('56) and Roxy Grove Hall ('57).
