Game, Set, Match ... Big 12 Title

The men's tennis team ended its regular season by winning the Big 12 Tournament title in Kansas City, Mo., defeating Oklahoma State 4-0 and ending with a 25-1 record overall. It's the team's second consecutive Big 12 regular season and tournament championships. The men's team drew a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament. The women's team claimed its first Big 12 regular season championship, tying with Texas A&M in the standings. With Joey Scrivano in his first season coaching the women, the team received an at-large bid in the NCAA Tournament. Individual Big 12 Conference awards went to sophomore Benedikt Dorsch for Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year; Ivor Lovrak for Freshman of the Year; senior Vida Mulec, the sole Baylor women's player named all Big 12; and Matt Knoll, Coach of the Year.
